In this psychological coming-of-age story, Aline, a young dancer, doesn’t get a part in her high school’s rendition of Swan Lake and consequently finds herself lured away into an alternate fairytale-like reality by a mysterious girl she only knows from a recurring dream.

With this film, I wanted to explore how feelings of inadequacy and displacement are assuaged by the promise of the dream and how following your heart is the first leap toward owning your dreams, and therefore, owning your own reality.
